Pre-Frontal Cortex and Critical Thinking

The prefrontal cortex (PFC) is the cerebral cortex covering the front part of the frontal lobe. This brain region has been implicated in planning complex cognitive behavior, personality expression, decision making, and moderating social behaviour.

In an imperfect world, there is the imperfect brain. As amazing as the brins is, it has a high volume of errors. If one realizes the brain is not perfect and reflects on what God is trying to tell us, it is possible to think critically about what Paul is trying to tell us in the following passage.
Philippians 4:8-9

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
